Day trip to Tarragona from La Pineda. Walk around the Rambla Nova and see the monument monument als castellers . The sculpture stands on the site where 14 groups of castellers used to perform. Created by the Catalan artist Francesc Anglès, the almost life-size creation demonstrates how this intriguing cultural custom is performed. The tradition goes back at least 200 years in Terragona and Penedès and today it is designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage tradition by UNESCO.

Located just 35 mins by bus along the coast from Salou - La Pineda has one of the golden coast’s longest beaches popular with both surfers and windsurfers. The town is fairly quiet compared to its lively neighbour Salou, though it’s more vibrant than the village of Cambrils. LNG is not available in Scotland so why did cmal order a ship to run on it its industrial sabotage jim mccall had nay bother sounds to me like cmAL didn't know LPG and LNG are totally different in terms complexities perhaps a wee peat and diesel mix would ha been better

I’m very curious about the southern horizon on that lovely ridge back from Binnein, a walk I’d love to do on my planned trip to the Trossachs next year. The view looks like Ben Lomond on the right, Ben Venue in the middle, then is it Ben Ledi on the left. I love mountain spotting. Thank you, enjoyed this very much.

Wow! I visited Isle of Arran, Scotland for my 1st time May 1973. I was only age 12 and am now age 61 going onto age 62. Scotland is the most beautiful place in the UK. I have visited Scotland 100 times now with my last stay just 6 days ago in Glasgow. I am a lover of the countryside more than cities. I am due to visit Arran again this year and also Isle of Skye. Scotland is heaven on earth. When I visited Arran I camped in Glen Rosa. We hired tents from Kilmarnock. My first trip was a school trip. There were 4 school trips starting in 1973 to 1977 and I went to all of them. Back then there were more trees and greenery in Glen Rosa. Now it looks less green and has less trees. The whole of Arran has changed but is still beautiful. I will never forget the massive storm they had on Isle of arran May 1973. Several tents were blown into the lake including a large marquee.

Hi, I've checked with our walk leader and we did the hills from Glen Fruin. We parked in the small road off the A817 Glen Fruin Road at Auchengaich Burn (enough space for about 6 cars) the road goes up to Auchengaich Burn but there's a gate to stop cars going through. Our route is similar to this posted on Walk Highlands although we didn't continue up Beinn A'Mhanaich we just walked back along the burn back to the reservoir. www.walkhighlands.co.uk/maps/mapfull.php?map=297654&f=9
